Movement Timeout

Your lift took longer than expected to complete its movement and was automatically stopped as a safety precaution.

Movement Timeout

Your Atlantis system has a built-in safety timer that stops the lift if movement takes too long. This protects your equipment from potential issues.

What You'll Notice

  • The lift stops before reaching its destination
  • The app shows a timeout error
  • The lift was moving slower than usual

Why This Happens

  • Mechanical drag or friction - Something slowing down the lift
  • Motor running slower - Electrical or mechanical issue
  • Extra weight - Boat heavier than normal
  • Partial obstruction - Something causing resistance

What to Do

1

Try Again

Simply press the button to continue moving the lift. The timeout clears automatically after each stop.

2

Check for Resistance

Look for anything that might be slowing the lift down - misaligned boat, debris, or binding cables.

3

Note the Pattern

If timeouts happen frequently, contact your dealer. This may indicate a mechanical issue that needs attention.

When to Contact Your Dealer

  • Timeouts happen on every lift or lower operation
  • The lift is noticeably slower than it used to be
  • You hear unusual sounds during operation
  • The problem started suddenly

Your dealer can inspect the mechanical components and adjust the safety timeout if needed.
