Getting Started with Your Atlantis Lift
Follow these steps after your installer has completed setup and shown you the lift’s controls.
Safety comes first
Keep the lift in sight whenever it moves
- Stay at the controls and keep everyone clear of the boat and lift.
- Never walk away from a moving lift, even when using a preset.
- Stop immediately if movement is unexpected or a warning appears.
- Never open the controller or work on wiring while power is connected.
01 · Prepare
Before the first move
A calm, deliberate handoff is the safest way to learn your lift. Complete these checks with your installer before anyone uses the controls.
Step 01
Confirm the installation is complete
Your installer should finish setup and safety testing before handing over the lift. Do not use a controller with an open enclosure, exposed wiring, visible damage, or an active fault.
Step 02
Clear the lift area
Keep people, pets, tools, dock lines, and loose items away from the cradle, cables, motors, and boat.
Step 03
Know how to stop the lift
Before the first move, have your installer show you the normal stop control and the emergency power disconnect. Make sure both are easy to reach.
Step 04
Check the status
The controller and app should show that the lift is ready. If you see a red warning or fault message, do not move the lift until it is resolved.
Set up the Atlantis Boater app
Install the app, sign in, and follow its on-screen steps to add the lift. Have your marina Wi-Fi name and password ready. Keep Bluetooth and location access available during nearby setup if your phone requests them.
If Atlantis Boater asks for the physical APP button, follow the illustrated Wi-Fi guide and release at the first magenta blink. Never continue holding into the 30-second APP factory reset.
03 · Test
Make a safe test movement
Start small, keep the entire lift in view, and release the control at the first sign that anything is not working as expected.
Start with manual control
01Keep the lift in full view. Press and hold UP for a short movement, then release the control and confirm the lift stops immediately.
Check the other direction
02Press and hold DOWN for a short movement. Confirm the actual direction matches the control and that releasing it stops the lift.
Listen and watch
03Stop if the lift binds, tilts, jerks, makes an unusual sound, or if a cable winds unevenly. Have the lift inspected before trying again.
Use automatic features only after handoff
04Presets and automatic travel are safe to use only after a qualified installer has set and tested the stopping points and safety equipment on your lift.

When to contact support
Stop the lift and contact Atlantis when a warning remains, movement is unexpected, or the controller appears damaged.
Contact Atlantis Support- Controller Info shows a missing or unrecognized hardware version.
- The lift does not stop when a held control is released.
- The app direction does not match actual movement.
- A red warning or safety message remains or returns.
- You see water, corrosion, heat damage, or damaged wiring near the controller.
Include the controller serial number, lift location, exact message, and a photo of the controller lights. Do not open the enclosure to gather information.
