Your Dealer or Atlantis Marina Has Locked This Lift
All movement is blocked until the lock is released. This is not a hardware fault — contact your dealer or marina to resolve it.
Dealer Lock / Payment Lock
Your dealer or Atlantis Marina has disabled this lift. This is not a hardware fault — it's a hold that your dealer or marina controls and can release once resolved.
What is a Dealer Lock?
A Dealer Lock (also called a Payment Lock or Marina Lock) is a feature built into the Atlantis Control System that allows authorized dealers and marinas to temporarily suspend lift operation — without any physical changes to your hardware.
Applied Remotely or In Person
No hardware is damaged or disconnected — applied remotely or in person
Fully Reversible
Released instantly once resolved
Lift Based
Applies to this lift only — not all lifts on your account
Why Your Lift Has Been Locked
There are two parties who can apply a lock — your Atlantis dealer or Atlantis Marina. Only one applies per situation: either you own the lift and it was just installed but is yet to be validated or paid for, or your lift is facility-owned and managed by the marina.
Locked by Your Dealer
Dealer Lock
Your Atlantis dealer — the company that installed your lift control system — may apply a lock for one of two reasons:
Vessel Christening — First Lift Verification
Before handing full control to you, your dealer may require a christening — a supervised first lift where a technician verifies that your vessel is properly set up on the lift. This is a safety step, not a punishment.
During the christening, your dealer confirms:
- Bunked correctly — Your boat is sitting properly and evenly in the cradles or bunks — not resting on any hull fittings, drive units, or sensitive areas.
- Correct position & height — The lift stops at the right height for your vessel so it clears the water fully without over-extending the system.
- Everything set up properly — The controller, sensors, limits, and safety systems are all calibrated and functioning correctly for your specific installation.
If a christening is required, your dealer will contact you to arrange it. Once the first lift is completed and verified, your dealer will unlock the system and hand full control over to you.
Pending Payment
Your dealer is awaiting payment for the Atlantis Control System purchase or hardware. The lift may already be installed, but this lock will never carry into ownership — it exists only during the pre-handover phase. Once your payment is confirmed, your dealer will release the lock and transfer full ownership to you.
Locked by Atlantis Marina
Marina Payment Lock
If your lift is located at an Atlantis Marina property, the lift is owned by the facility and rented to you as part of your slip or dock agreement. Atlantis Marina applies a payment lock when a rented lift account becomes past due and has exceeded its grace period.
Past-Due Slip Rental
Your lift rental fee — typically billed as part of your slip or dock agreement — has gone unpaid and has passed the grace period allowed by Atlantis Marina. When this occurs, the marina locks the lift until the account is brought current.
To resolve a Marina Payment Lock, log in to your Atlantis Marina account or visit the marina office to make your payment. Once your balance is cleared, the lift will be unlocked automatically. You can also visit atlantis-marina.com/support for account help.

How to Get Your Lift Unlocked
Check the Atlantis App
Open the Atlantis Control app and look for a lock notification or banner on your lift's dashboard. The app will show the lock status and may display a message or reason from your dealer or marina.
You will receive a notification in the app. No additional details are shown.
Contact your dealer directly, or log in to Atlantis Marina to view any past-due balances on your account.
Identify Who Applied the Lock
Determine whether the lock was applied by your marina or your Atlantis dealer — only they can release it. The app notification or a prior communication should indicate the source.
Marina Lock
Applied by the marina managing your slip. Contact your marina's office or use Atlantis Marina support.
Dealer Lock
Applied by the dealer who installed or services your system. Contact them directly to resolve.
Resolve the Outstanding Issue
Reach out to your marina or dealer and resolve any outstanding balance, expired lease, or account issue. Once the hold is cleared on their end, the lock is released — usually within minutes.
- Pay any outstanding invoice or slip rental balance
- Renew your slip lease or membership if expired
- Verify your account details if there's a dispute
- Ask your marina or dealer to confirm the release
Confirm the Lock is Released
Once your marina or dealer releases the lock, the lift will respond to controls again immediately. You'll see the lock status disappear in the Atlantis app and your lift controls will be restored.
No reboot or technician visit is needed. The unlock takes effect instantly once your dealer or marina releases the hold.

While Atlantis Control Systems has the technical ability to release a Dealer Lock, we will not do so without explicit consent from the dealer or marina that applied it. All parties must be in agreement and everything confirmed before any action is taken on our end. Please contact the dealer or marina managing your lift directly — once resolved, it should be a quick process.
