Why the Wait?
Your lift needs a brief pause (about 1-2 seconds) before changing direction. This:

- •Extends the life of your lift
- •Is a normal safety feature

If you're adjusting position, just wait a moment between UP and DOWN presses. The delay is short - just long enough to protect your equipment.
Need It Adjusted?
The delay is set to a safe default and usually doesn't need changing. If you feel it's too long, contact your dealer.
