Limit Switch Circuit Fault
The controller has detected a break or short in the safety limit switch wiring. This is a critical safety feature that prevents the lift from traveling too far.
Possible Causes
- Damaged or cut limit switch wire
- Corroded connection at the limit switch
- Loose terminal connection inside the controller
- Faulty limit switch
What to Do
- Visual Inspection: Inspect the wires leading to your limit switches (usually mounted on the lift beams) for any signs of damage.
- Check Connections: If you are comfortable doing so, turn off power and check that the limit switch wires are securely connected.
- Contact Installer: This issue typically requires a service technician to repair the wiring or replace the switch.
